Important information for our clients
We would point out to our respected buyers that it is your responsibility to satisfy yourself as to the condition and characteristics of the lots you are interested in. Our catalogue descriptions are offered as a matter of opinion and not of fact. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to satisfy himself as to the accuracy of all catalogue descriptions, including age, condition, origin, and provenence etc of lots.
If you are unsure of the piece we ask you to please not bid! All lots, except electrical, are sold as seen. Once the hammer has fallen no claims will be accepted. Please check the goods, with an independant expert if you wish, on the viewing days to avoid disapointment later. In the case of electrical goods purchasers have 48 hours to satisfy themselves that the goods are in working condition. (Far better to test it at one of our viewing days!)
We would also point out to our equally respected vendors that we cannot accept responsibility for unsold good not collected within three days after the auction. If you have arranged alternative arrangements with us (remove reserve and repeat for example, or donate to charity) this does not apply. Please do not leave your unsold goods with us after an auction without making arrangements as to its future! Thank you.

Please make these steps unnecessary by REMOVING YOUR LOTS ON TIME or completing the section on the entry form headed “What shall we do with your unsold lots?”, Or simply ring us to disuss.. It’s so easy!
